| No celebration in this house. I got a card once and it was the year I was pregnant with Carrie and we were told that there were problems and tests were done and I was getting leaflets and talks about what happens when a baby dies or has a deformity, scans every month until she was born. Don't panic, all that and she had an extra thumb. So for that sad and worrying time I got a card, I really don't have a chance of anything in a normal year | |

| Thx God that all was well that ended well for Carrie! it must have been worrisome... Well, for Valentine's day sometimes i get a :valen1: , a year my hubby bought me a big white teddy bear that was holding a heart (still have it), i did get other small stuffed animals (i never lost the attraction to them! :valen2: ), but he stopped with stuffed animals, cuz he thinks i have more than enough I've never got jewelry on that occasion. We did have a candlelight dinner twice only years ago. Never been out for Valentine's just because it has never fallen during a good time to spend money like that. This year again, unless something happens, i don't think that we'll have any spare money for gifts or anything special, but as usual i will make a "heart shaped" cake to celebrate the day probably a chocolate one to keep up with traditions! :valen4: | |

| So sweet indeed! and true i can imagine that after many years of a good marriage! it is beautiful to see your example :valen2: . Things have been getting better for a while but we are not there yet "our garden" can use some TLC and the little "boost" that a Holiday like this one gives :valen3: | |
