Easter Traditions

Thanks for sharing any Easter Tradition that you know about, or have followed when you were a kid or are still following.
And as we are a multi-cultural forum, what's "the main" Easter tradition in your country?

I don't really remember anything from being a child. I do know that some people go to church

To most people it's a time to get off school/work and eat chocolate

well, while growing up their was the eggs hunt! that was fun to find the Easter chocolates! Family coming for the Easter meal, often times my mom's aunt was spending a week with us and she was always bringing high quality chocolate with her for us.

here some people go to church, there's eggs hunt at home and some even at church and of course the one at the White House for any kid who wants to go! People usually have a meal with family.

^ right, egg hunts for the kids is really popular. and then lots of visiting and eating lol.
lots of candy of course
