| As an adult...My two youngest (Jason and Carrie) when they were around 10/12..we were woken up with this almighty snorting of laughter (Carrie has one of those really loud laughs, like a screech to start with then onto the snorts) and I could hear Jason telling her to be quiet (it was 3am). They had each got those tiny remote controlled helicopters. They were making them fly around and for some reason they kept hitting the Christmas tree, bouncing off, and instead of switching them off or grabbing them they just stood and watched them hit off the tree. We would always find them each on the two sofas asleep wrapped in blankets. Paul the oldest (around 17) would stay in bed. | |

a Christmas memory :santhink: i love the Christmas lights and one year we left with my kids (hubby was not up to do that again :chlau: ) and we went all around town and out of town to admire the diverse lights people had put on on their houses and yards while listening and :carols: Christmas carols . There was one that was really awesome, with bunch of beautiful deco in the yard. We had such a great time! :snowmada:

| Jester the cat as a kitten standing below the tree and looking up..then really fast was up the tree all the way to the top..she managed to pull half the decorations with her :chlau:
Cher the cat (no longer with us) would walk into the living room and just as you didn't expect it she would run to the tree, hit a bauble, then run out the living room. Should say she was old at the time. :chlau:
Or this year when I was sorting the tree..it decided it had enough and fell on me..the tree was still bare at the time..it also managed to take a chunk out of a nice little gold and white Santa that lights up that was sitting on our fireplace :chlau:

| :chlau: i got the same deal with my cats! we had to tie up the tree to keep it up as they would climb it and make it fall! then they could not help but want to play with those shiny, really cool, balls... :rollaugh:
Christmas memories from childhood... i loved it as we were going to visit my cousins we were playing games up to late at night, goofing around pestering our respective older sisters! my dad would play card with my uncle and my mom and my aunt were chatting... and i'll never forget the beautiful deco in their town! so many gorgeous lights! i was in awe each time! moreover my uncle was also going all the way with a garland of lights on their Christmas tree which i didn't have at home so i had a ball!

| A little gold Santa that's as old as me. I would tell my kids when young that he's there in the tree to watch them behave. Taking out the decorations this year I brought him out and Carrie said "remember to hang him at the front" Took some pics on my phone making sure Diablo behaves but was sleeping so was good hiding in the tree | |
