| House on haunted hill (the old one but not the funny one the real deal), though it's a 1963 movie it was well done. It used to really freak me out when i was a teen, but i toughen up so i'm fine :wkpumk:
The Changeling, it's really unsettling even now, because the kid is evil toward the guy that is trying to help him and is remaining evil at the end...
The Messengers with young K. Stewart, well done too
now that Woman in Black and the Conjuring are out, i'll have to put them on the list....
***********
Amityville the 1st one, i watched it while being a teen and it left me a very bad feeling, and i have never watched it since... i guess one day i'll have to pass over that and try again :laughpum:
There was another movie like that really freaked me out big time while being a teen but i can't remember the title and never seen it since... it was about a house where some kind of evil little being, i guess they were kind of looking like evil/ugly monkeys were hiding in the fireplace where they had been walled in, but new owners not knowing reopen the fireplace and all hell breaks loose!
If anybody knows that movie, what was it's title?

| oh i've seen House on Haunted Hill. and yes a very good one. more funny then scary but i love it.
The Haunted Mansion is another funny one but i love it too.
and yes, Woman in Black. although it's not much of a traditional halloween movie. i've started to watch Hocus Pocus, but it didn't interest me.

No, not that one, i'm talking about the real version of the story the spooky one :chasghos: The one that starts with a carriage wreaking against a tree and the lady dying... the 1st victim of the evil mansion! :scypumk: yeah, the Haunte Mansion is great also with E. Murphy :bcboopum:
