What kind of Decorations?

what style of Christmas decoration do you like best? there is a lot, the homemade style, classical, and many more.

how do you like to put festive cheer in your house? :Christ1:

:Christ8: well, i don't go doing homemade popcorn garlands for one. i like those nice poofy ones at the store...and i guess i'm kind of classical, i like christmas balls on tree, a reindeer or two...lights.
i don't do much of heavy stuff like glass etc. everything plastic here :Christ8:

we have a little gold santa that hangs at the front of our tree and when the kids were young we would say he was watching them. He's older than me (the tree one, I know santa is older than me)
I told Carrie just 2 days ago that he's there watching. All my kids are grown up and don't live at home but they still like to see him there.
We have an angel on the tree and the usual balls on the tree, which I like. I like the little plastic ornaments that light up and go all different colours that you can sit around the house.

^ yes! i love the ornaments that change color!
i like better having a star on the top of the tree...for whatever reason lol. i like the angels, but on the tree, i prefer the star..

I love the Christmas lights of diverse colors so i always have some on the tree but also around the windows, I like shiny big garlands and antique style Christmas ornaments... also pine cones and mine come from a tree i used to have years ago where I lived back then.
I would like old fashion deco that you make yourself, I used to do that but don't have the time anymore 

 i like to have a nice nativity but can't put it up since i move to my ranch as the house is too small for now and the living room is pocket size!  :Christ1:

I HAVE A MIXTURE OF THINGS ON MY TREE,, SOME THAT WERE MY MOM'S.. ALWAYS INCLUDE MOM. THEN I HAVE SOME THE GRAND CHILDREN MADE FOR ME, THEY ALWAYS HAND ON THE TREE.. I SMILE WHEN I WALK BY AND SEE THEM..

MY GREAT GRAND DAUGHTER, ADDED A NEW ONE LAST YEAR.. HER MOM DIPPED HER HANDS IN BROWN WATER COLOR AND PLACE THEM ON A WHITE PIECE OF CANVAS JUST A LITTLE 4X4 SQUAR. ADDED A BIG RED CIRCLE WITH TWO BLACK DOTS BETWEEN GREYS HAND PRINTS AND THE BIG RED CIRCLE. LOOKS LIKE ROUDOLPH!!! WISH I COULD POST A PICTURE BUT FOR SOME REASON THEY NEVER SEEM TO POST FOR ME..

but anyhow, usually just right clicking on a photo that is uploaded online, and copying image address, or selecting properties and then selecting the url always work...

I don't know what's missing but the google link you gave gives no results...

okay, you're in the right place ("insert image") and it is the first choice.

here's an example. (now i don't know about you, but i use Chrome.)

after grabbing the url, then you right click on the first empty bar under "insert image" and paste your link. then of course, you click insert.

you'll then see in your reply box the url of the image your are posting.

[img]the link of the pic you want to post is here[img]





then you can either preview to view your pic, or click on "switch editor mode" in the task bar above your reply box

i hope this helps.

could you tell me what browser you are using? this will help fix the problem all the better.

okay, so i'm seeing something now, which is good (progress!) i took a look at your message to see how the code looks, and it's not quite complete. every url looks like this and must be there:

like here ^ you see the "http://" and etc.

okay. now hosting a image...

here's what i do.

1) if you take a jpeg, gif, etc, from the pc, select "File".

2) select "Choose File" and grab your image from the pc.

3) now, where it says:
"Resize image
Allowed formats : bmp, jpg, png, gif, tif"
select on the drop down, "No". (first on the list)

4) Click on "Host It"

5) the next page you will see after clicking on Host It, will show a list of links of the image you have just hosted. Copy the image link labeled under "Image Url"

6) now go and click on the "Insert Image" tab on the taskbar above your message box.

7) Paste your Image Url Link in the Url box.

8.) Click "Insert".

now, when you preview your message you should see your image

HOLY COW!!! DOESN'T SEEM LIKE IT WAS ALL THAT DIFFICULT BEFORE...
