This is a deck that I do not own yet but will ASAP!....
"Wisdom of the house of night oracle"
I saw all the cards and it is awesome! The art is beautiful and IMO there is not one card there to spoil the deck! There are 50 cards with gilded edges, it is very magickal and several cards with cats! It was inspired by the book series "The house of night" but every review I read said that it is working on its own thus you do not need to have read the book to benefit from this oracle and most reviewers never read the books! They also say that this is an amazingly accurate oracle! With crystal clear messages...
This oracle comes with a book, in a nice box. The book has 3 basic spreads with basic info on reading cards. One page is dedicated to each card...And on the top of all that it is very cheap! just $11.65!
Here is a video that presents the deck! (it was made by someone who bought that deck) And in case you have trouble seeing it I give you also the link: [Only admins are allowed to see this link]

That looks pretty neat LadySibella!
Here's my current Tarot Crush :
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Lover's Path by Kris Waldherr
It's picturing famous couples from mythologies, opera librettos and novels in a very beautiful way.
My favourites from that deck are
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Ariadne and Dionysos (just love that Greek myth how she was saved from desolation -her own husband dumped her on an island!!- found true love and as a nice 'bonus' became a goddess thanks to Dionysos, the Greek god of wine and song) - in this pack they stand for "the World" but in the deck it's renamed "Triumph".
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
And Tamino and Pamina, from one of my absolute favourite operas The Magic Flute. They symbolize "The Fool", as they are so naive and pure-hearted characters, but in the deck that card is named "Innocence". Oh and unless you're opera fans as well, I'll just tell that in that picture, Tamino the prince is playing his magic flute and together with Pamina, daughter of the Queen of the Night (a pretty evil lady btw) they go through fire and water before they are allowed to have each other. But then they'll have all eternity so it's not a bad deal if you think of it
Ahh I so wish to have that deck one day!

wow, i too want to get the house of night oracle!!! it looks really nice!
Frederique i totally agree with what Sibella said about that tarot lol!
well, for me, i still want to get the Celtic Dragon Tarot. i had my eye on it several months ago, and it still appeals to me. there has been talk that the cards are not the best on sturdiness, but i don't think i will be able to resist for much longer they also made a small change to it, Swords are associated with Fire and Wands with Air. the not so nice thing about it, is that the price went up so much! i did not expect that, and it's so disappointing.
here's a sample: (the scan on the last one is too bright as you can't see the border well anymore)

i got it!!!!!!!!! (Wisdom of the House of Night) it's as awesome as i thought it would be. (such a bargain too!!!) very well made, great info booklet, and the box is very sturdy. i will use it to store my cards and booklet. i even have room for a little crystal!
the cards are so different then the typical oracle, and i feel that they allow you to go deeper then most. so far, i'm very satisfied.

Here is the website of the artist, from where i got the pics!

very nice!!! i may like this one even better then the first too lol. i like the art a lot. both deviate from original symbols, but it doesn't look quite difficult even so.

yep, it is quite attractive! true that there would be some "getting use to" as many cards have been completely revamped! like the new Judgment card called "harvest", i'll have to pull away from the memory of "judgment day" that is seen in the RW... but i think it should be doable with the help of the book that will come with it Just one thing that i wonder... is it ok to deviate so much from the "original" tarot?? some people say it's not, cuz they estimate that it becomes like a totally new deck, like an oracle but with a tarot background... so they say that it's not the Tarot anymore and it should not be called "Tarot" neither used as a Tarot... I don't know about that, one thing certain is that i do love the magical theme of this deck!

^ i don't know either...a tarot is a tarot, but what makes it a tarot? maybe it's okay to deviate but not too much, because then it's not really a tarot, but something else. it's confusing lol

yeah, that's what i feel... deviating too much than it would not be the Tarot anymore??? Brigit (Biddy Tarot) said that she just sticks to the RW that she has learned with and kept reading since day one and when someone wants her to read from another deck she just disregard the art of the card and go by what the card looks like in the RW. I don't know if i would do that... the thing is the RW is great but the art is rather simplistic like the Tarot of Marseilles and there are so many beautiful decks out there, but then the art doesn't match what i know the card represents so that's my dilemma do i just go ahead and look at that new representation of the card and just interpret what i see regardless of what it usually means... like you said Lakshmi it is very confusing i still have to make up my mind cuz i really love the art of these 2 tarots while they do deviate from the RW

so far, i find myself using RW as a background, maybe because i feel that anyway a tarot is a tarot, and RW is pretty old. at least for the CV tarot, i find that most do indeed relate to RW even if it's depicted differently. the point is still there.
i don't know what to do with it either, for now, i'm sticking to one thing. when i get that done really, i'll think more on it lol

Hi! I have just got the Llewellyn tarot, based on ancient welsh culture... It's beautiful... Very refined. However, I was actually just wondering too. Is it ok to use the same meaning as the Tarot Marseille or do we need to let the intuition wander from the pics of the 'new' tarot? To me that would make more sense, but then how do I do here with Strength XI becomes VIII and VIII Lady of the Fountain/Justice becomes XI? Maybe mixing tarots is not so great. Just for the art, but not for the readings any more...? xx

yeah this is really a tough question... i think that it must not be possible to interpret a tarot like the Llewellyn as if it was the Tarot of Marseilles cuz it seems that the TOM is quite different. It is different if you would want to interpret a clone of the RW. Still some people like Brigit from Biddy Tarot says that you can and that she did... She is a RW reader but was confronted to having to read from the TOM and she said she just applied what the cards meant in the RW. but i feel that if we do that we are just sticking to a set up meaning of the cards so in a way shutting down our intuition...the images might trigger something else. Also, the card number is changed so if we look at the numerology that will change something also in the interpretation... What i learned is that most tarots like the Llewellyn are clones of the RW more or less obvious. The TOM is totally different. Like when you look at it, the Lovers card has been changed from the TOM to the RW. In the RW there's not a choice between 2 people. The Magician is also somewhat different, and of course the Minors are totally different as they do not have any illustration which visibly leaves the reader to interpret with what he/she knows of the numerology and suit and a set of meanings or a sudden vision by staring at the symbols. Though i think there's a main theme that remains. Personally, at times i find myself picturing the RW as the art is so talking but i also look at what the artist did on the version i'm using like the Crystal Tarot and let the new image speak to me.
the Llewellyn tarot is a beautiful tarot!
****************
update on the "Green Witch" tarot it will be published Sept 8th 2015 so not too long to wait!

yes, i have not seen much of that tarot, but it looks very lovely!!
yea i don't know really where i stand on that either. for sure, i agree with Sibella, there is a base that remains...after that...hard to tell. if it sticks close enough to the original then yes. but when it doesn't, that makes things a lot harder.
