Weekly reading

I've been following horoscopes and readings for the month and the week. Now I feel the messages are not as accurate as they used to be for me. Since the monthly readings I do are really helpful and precise, I thought why not try weeklies...

Here is my weekly then:

Main theme I need to focus on: Knight of wands
This week tings could go very quickly. It's all about action, change and passion. I need to listen to my instincts and intuition, being fully in the present, concentrate on my target and act, without thinking too much of what will come next. I really need to stay still, however hard that might be and listen to my inner voice but when the right moment comes just go. There might be opportunities to catch, no time to waste or I might miss them. It's also about being the predator, the hunter...

Body/vitality: Hierophant and faery stallion (2 majors!)
The hierophant is the teacher, old, wise and calm. The stallion (chariot) is youth, dynamism, enjoying being outdoors. I'd say I'll need to find the right balance between being at home working on my workshops and other things and taking some time to go outside, feel some freedom, take the time to enjoy the moment.

Mindset / Emotions: King of swords and 4 of wands
I had the king of swords 2 days ago. I'm urged to pay attention to my thoughts, take time to quiet the mind, careful not to let my fears get in the way (again) - funny how in touch it is with the mind! And 4 wands is about the energy, the passion and the celebration of being together. Funny again as I have been invited to a few events, plus my boyfriend is coming back after 3 weeks holiday this week end... So this week calls me to surround myself with people who 'play the same music as me' and feel the joy of it.

Relationships: 5 cups
My relationships could trigger some very intense emotions that could submerge me. The instinct would be to be afraid and step back, but emotions bring a healing when they are felt and released. Friends and others could provide me with an opportunity to let go of old emotions and pains...

Work: 4 cups
In the area of work, I might feel dissatisfied about what I have and what I wish I had. Concentrating on this dissatisfaction will only make me more miserable and will make me miss good things. This card calls me to look at what I have and feel the happiness about it. I need to open my eyes and see the happiness that is opening up to me - funny as this echoes my monthly reading.


Spiritually: the world
A major, and the last one too. The worlds indicates a fulfilment of some kind, a cycle has come to its end. When something finishes we tend to quickly move on to something else. Here the message is to take the time to appreciate the accomplishment of something that was extremely important to me, to observe how I have been transformed and how I have been supported in that.
In a way I also feel my soul has finally incarnated in this life. My body is now awake, I can feel, exchange and be part of this life. It is a week where I can feel the oneness...

Ok, Sunday this is, time for the weekly then!

Here is for Sib, using the witchlings like you asked:

- the main theme of the week for you is abundance, and I kind of had seen that coming!
This week, you are asked to harmonise your thoughts with what it is that you really want to attract in your life, so that the universe can deliver it to you. It could be that your thoughts or intentions are not clear enough, and therefore you are sending conflicting energies to the universe. Could also be that you simply need to reevaluate what you want as you might have go through some inner transformation and now your desires have changed.

- Body/vitality: cleansing. You will gain by cleansing your energies this week, so your aura but also the energies of your home and workplace. Again, since you may have gone through a transformation cycle, there are old energies clinging around and it is now important to cleanse them.
Use your favorite incense. You can also take a shower and ask for the water to release all old and lower energies attached to your body so that you are all fresh and can attract what you want and move on. Or use any other method that you like.

- Emotions: Empowerment. This week focus on what makes you feel empowered in your life. This determination of your mind, and of your soul, will guide you towards stronger inner power. For that just do the things that you love, that bring you joy. Each time you feel the joy, your nourish and nurture your inner child. Nurturing your inner child helps her heal. And when you heal, your life gets better.

- Work: Motivation: Motivation is the inner energy that pushes you to take action. Connect with your motivation, find the motivation in what you do, you'll in turn get more energy to actually do what needs to be done.

- Spirituality: Love. You are reminded that love is always there within and around you. Love is the natural state of the heart and of the soul. For any issue you face, focus on the love, always try to find the solution that brings more love into your life.

  so much for this full weekly reading! It already resonates with my spirit! I'll let you know how it turned out!
I have done my weekly and monthly but don't have time to post them.. my day went totally differently than i thought... ended up working the cattle up to 4 pm! i'm glad i had succeeded to do my readings early morning before we started on the cows!

So when we were done with them the only thing i could type was the "weekly practice" we decided to do for each others.

Here is my weekly, I've simplified it a little, so that I can take more time to listen to the message:

The main focus of the week: 6 wands. Not a surprise!!
This week focuses on reaping the fruits of my labor, enjoying the success after all the hard work and doing things I love to boost my energy and motivation. So, happiness, pleasure and satisfaction are on the menu! I can celebrate life and all it is offering to me.

Relationships: 7 swords. Hum still some trouble here... This week will show me how my conflicting thoughts create my conflicted reality in relationships. Also, I'd say when there is an argument or a need to explain something, running away will not be the best way to go. It's not because we have different opinions that I am being attacked. And I have the right to express myself without thinking it'll create a tragedy. And maybe be a little on the lookout to see who my true allies are.

Love: 4 wands. The beautiful sunflower head shows how sunny and happy that side of my life is. I've done the work, put out the efforts, created some stability so now I can just relax, enjoy the moment, rejoice in the delights.
I also see the 2 little fellows and the hearts between and around them, like it is a time for 'the 2 of us', just feeling the love.

Work: 4 coins. This week I'll definitely be trying to find some stability back into my life after the very difficult month of August. But I need to be careful not to hold on too tight to what I have or earn as I would be blocking the flow of abundance. If I remain calm and centered, I might get some inspiration on how to earn or avoid useless spendings. So, find some structure but remain flexible and open. When confronted to spending, I need to think rationally and not follow my impulses.

Word of wisdom/spirituality: Page of swords. So I will need to rely on my thinking rationally for things to clear out a bit. I need also to maintain a spirit of adaptability and eagerness to learn the lessons life is presenting me with.  This will provide me with an opportunity for growth.

Thanks, I had digestive problems eating some cucumbers! and my hubby has been very hurt because of his nerves that get pinched so his hands and arms are killing him, could not sleep last night which doesn't help and the fact that he always work with his hands (since yesterday he is fixing some farm equipment) that doesn't help either... today, he'll go see the chiropractor. So, health problem but also "heartache in the household", i've been under stress so knowing what the reading had said, yesterday i took the time to do a guided relaxation and that helped me! and it's true that our relationship with my hubby has been good.

So yeah, i like that spread, i will post it as soon as i have the time but from what i read about it, everyone says it's very accurate, quick to do and covers usually a week, to the max 2 weeks. I'm gonna put it to the test but yes, it has been true so far.

The main theme of my week will be centered around creating a happy and loving life, expanding my thought patterns, opening up to what I think is not possible. I also need to draw on the energies of the universe and have very clear intentions and thoughts as I could well manifest a lot this week...

How to learn from it
8 swords tells me that I need to reconnect with my inner power and let go of my feeling of being trapped. I need to let go of limiting ideas so my vital energy can flow again and I can spread my wings.
It is quite clear how the magician speaks about infinite possibilities and 8 swords shows the limitations in my mind...

Love
3 wands: I'm exploring uncharted territory and the joy it brings me opens my foresight, vision and creativity. I need to balance willpower and action.
I can't help but feel how happy she is and saying like 'I'm going to "love-land" and I love it, see you guys!'  A burst of energy and fantasy...

Work

Have had that recently already... I feel maybe I need to refocus a little as I'm being easily distracted by beautiful things around me. So I need to maintain a better awareness. But I also feel my emotions are increasing my inner light and the way I radiate. So watch out, refocus a little as opportunities could present themselves but could easily be missed too.

Spiritually
8 cups. My soul is growing, expanding and transitioning. I am experiencing a new and positive direction in my life. My soul will guide me. So I need to remember to take some time to listening to my inner voice...

he did decide to stop cutting hay on the share for now (we have one last to do), get into repairing equipment try to get cash in and also he decided not to do certain things and wait until we get money in.

Digestive problems real bad for me, then insomnia which worn me out. My hubby had serious problems with his hands not sleeping because of it, he ended up going to the chiropractor. and yes it was a "Mice" type of problem.

We will have some difficulties regarding money, a delay in getting what we have to have, maybe also a payment for a work done that will be delayed. Normally, today we should get the payment for one repair my hubby done as the guy knows what he needs to pay since Saturday…

A loss, some stress or minor problems. More info tells me that a solution will be found that will bring a happy ending.

So here comes a problem that we'll have to tackle! Maybe it is linked to our finances . Which tells me that the delay or challenge will not be a major one, but one that has to be dealt with. Still there's a good solution that will be found for it.

This week will be marked by a feeling of joy and harmony. I can feel happy of what I have accomplished, see the results of the good work and simply rejoice.
I still need to be diplomatic when facing an issue and keep the hard work, but I should see it all pay off.

What is the main challenge?
Knight of wands - Siren of the dark sea, solutions in the dark and unknown places
The challenge is that I might want things to move on quickly. But it seems I'll mainly be going to unknown places and will therefore need to draw from courage as I could well be afraid and let my fears stop me. Still opportunities will present themselves to push me forward.
Here we are, I knew this was coming... My main challenge will be to dare go deeper within me and within the mysteries of life. There are capacities that are dormant within me but that hold great power. Life will confront me with my fears to help me better understand the nature of my emotions. I will be much interested in the energies of the Universe and alternative ways and theories.

I'm bringing some innocent and fresh energy and intuition. I can count on my desire to increase my passion and creativity. I will blend my imagination with logic. I'll have that urge to go forward despite the fears and the unknown...

The sun indicates success, joy and optimism. So this week, things start looking better (and indeed they do). I'm feeling I'll be working with the energies of the sun and I would then open the door to new possibilities. It is a major, so this is the area of my life that is emphasised this week.

Cups for a theme of love that is good... I guess in that area all should go well, and I should receive quite a lot of loving messages. I'd say it will be about expressing the feeling of love, discovering the feeling of love...

Spirituality
The devil and inspiration
Fears again... A big theme this week... I see the puppet with his eyes on the chest, that would say I really want to understand, know what is hidden, but in order to do that I will have to face and defeat my fears, my limited believes and the illusions that keep me trapped.
While focusing on the chest of hidden potentialities, I need to remember to remain connected to the source of inspiration in order to go beyond my limitations. But inspiration will come naturally so I must be careful not to put too much pressure on myself.
Magic
I can use peppermint oil to be more receptive to inspiration. And also journal my inspirations...

I've really loved having my focus card on my altar and see it every day to connect with it. I will do that again. This week, I'll use the Shapeshifter card and maybe the inspiration one from the witchlings.
I haven't had the chance to do the meditation on the 8 cups. Let's hope this time I will...

missed my weekly last week, so this time here is my one card for the main energy of the week:

so it will be about confidence about new ideas and plans. there will be the right drive to pursue them this week. as it's a page, this 'youthful' energy can be put to good use if focused. i will be ready to undertake any new project if so.

  Gals! had an exhausting week end, working cattle and then insomnia yesterday was awful, i felt like a zombie so i could not pull out my cards... This morning we had an appointment for a barn... i finally got to do you 1 energy card for your week but still haven't find the time for my weekly, hopefully i'll have time later on today. Maybe i'll just do like you Lakshmi and pull 1 card! Can't give my feedback just yet    i have to got in town, but before i do, i'll quickly post your weekly energy!

So, I have some time now, I will do my weekly for next week 21-27/09.

1. what energy does the Universe bring to me?
Knight of pentacles. Funny I had this card on Thursday and meditated on it...
Pentacles is about every day matters and the body. I'm feeling the need to slow down and work through, do something thoroughly and patiently. There is no need to get agitated and act for the sake of acting. When the right moment is there I'll go but first I need to listen and be prepared.
With the star and the energy of this card I'm also feeling: bring the magic to the body, so give myself some healing and meditate...
I'm called to stay aware in order not to get overwhelmed.


What energy am I bringing to face this?
7 the fairy stallion. Ok an opposite energy of course! well, maybe not... The Universe is telling me to slow down and wait for the right moment. My energy is saying look ahead and plan your journey, use the mind to serve you not to bring you down. She's confidently looking up and ahead and blue is predominant: so calm the mind, have faith, be convinced. The horse is also a spiritual guide going with the hero on his quest and the symbol of our inner power. So I could call upon that energy...
This also reminds me life is a journey to be enjoyed...

Love
The star. A major. I see wonder and freshness and sheer joy. It's also a child and a butterfly so probably some healing is again going to take place with my inner child. However it should be harmonious and felt positively. I also feel it is me looking at the butterfly like Yes, I've changed my life and I can feel the magic in every part of me.

Work
7 of sword. I'm going to have to think about the direction again... He's looking back, thus at the past so I'm feeling I should rethink about my old dreams and see why I'm walking away from them. How can I redirect things to make them happen? I should look in my mindset and thought patterns...
It says also that the result is not important, what matters is to honour what I value.
I need to purify my thoughts and be clear about what I believe, only then will the Universe send me a sign...

Spirituality
5 of cups... Again a battle to face. My emotions are going to rush and sweep me away again...
I have been holding on to old emotions, hoping they would fade but now the time will come to allow myself to feel them, let them go through me and transform me, heal me and purify me.
Again a tough week ahead it seems...

What is the root of the problem?
Red riding-hood, I am no victim. Seems pretty clear to me... I indeed feel powerless, that the universe is trying to teach me a lesson the hard way and I'm stuck. So this is what is triggering the void I'm experiencing now...
I am myself and I'm proud of who I am. I have the strength to remain true to who I am despite what others are saying to me or about me.
I need to stop hiding and giving in to fear. I need to call upon the wolf who will teach me how to cross the desert and survive on his own.

What am I confronting now?
Once upon a midnight dreary. Creativity, writing and inspiration.
So the ravens are messengers of the divine. Thanks to them I have now a special connection to Spirit, and I need to listen to the intuitions I'm receiving. I have a mission to restore the mystery in a world when people hold on to knowledge. The time has come to make my dreams come true, so write down ideas, journal, listen in order to get to know myself better.

What transformation will this hold?
Poseidon's daughter. I'll have all I need.
I will receive gifts. I may have thought I would be given some gifts and abilities, but they are in me, I have acquired them throughout my life. When I accept who I am, I will live fully.
I will finally stop refusing to believe I am not gifted. I'll finally be able to be who I truly am.

What is the shadow side that is showing up in my life at present:
Brother racoon - a safe place to go
I'm seeing the feathers and the wings. Feathers are a sign of spirit, of wisdom and the wings represent angels and lightness. She is in the dark and trying to be as quiet and silent as possible in order to not be seen. I'm still hiding, a part of me is still in survival mode and thinking the outside world is dangerous and wants to take something from me. So I'm not talking too much, not revealing who I am, what I do, what I dream of and all.

How to heal this issue?
The mermaid and the turtle - an elder will teach you
The turtle is the oldest creature, and thus considered the wisest. It wants to bring me some old and wise teachings. I need to pay attention to my dreams, or any message I might receive. I have been fighting for my survival but the time will come to unveil some deep wisdom and live a great transition in my life. I may be reconnected with very old and ancestral practices.
How interesting! Especially since the turtle is appearing quite often theses days...

A time of reflection and being quiet. A time to use the energy of air to listen inwardly. Everything becomes calm, by withdrawing and resting to be able to move forward.
 
2.       What do I need to focus on: Beauty
Finding beauty in everything around me. To be open and discover the beauty, treasuring what’s there. Looking beyond appearances and remaining positive.
 
3.       Advice: Strength

To be rooted and connected. And in tune with wisdom (there is an owl on the tree) to use my inner strength and abilities to achieve what I need to this week. To be resolute.
